There’s a lot of articles on how to teach baby to roll over, but they’re not very good. So I figured I would write up a few tips for teaching baby to roll over.
The best way to teach baby to roll over is to practice it yourself. When you learn how to roll over, you will naturally teach baby to roll over.
Here’s a simple way to do it:
- Step 1: Get baby to lay down flat. Place your hand flat on top of baby’s head.
- Step 2: Gently push the baby’s head back to make him/her look like he/she is trying to roll over.
- Step 3: Let baby get up again and repeat the process.
- Repeat steps 2 and 3 until baby learns how to roll over.
When baby is about a month old, he/she will start to roll over by himself. You don’t need to do anything except to stay close by and watch what baby does. You will see baby will start rolling over and try to roll over again. At first, baby may not be able to roll over by himself, but eventually he/she will start to do it on his/her own. Here is a Youtube Video that shows a similar process.
Some babies will not start to roll over until they reach a certain age. It depends on baby’s age.
